Oxjam is Oxfam's month-long music festival dedicated to fighting poverty which runs through October with events all around the UK all organised by local music-loving volunteers. This year's Nottingham Oxjam event will be taking place at the Bodega Social Club on Thursday 13th October from 7pm onwards and will include both indoor and outside performances by a variety of local Nottinghamshire talent, both signed and unsigned.
The organisers are aiming to create a living room atmosphere inside contrasting with an ambient acoustic feel on the patio outside and there will be drinks promotions throughout the night. The entrance fee is £3 with extra donations appreciated but not necessary and all money raised from the event goes directly to Oxfam. Confirmed acts so far include Will Jeffery, Nina Smith, Kaben, The Golden Troubadours and Aaron Smith.
Tickets are available from the Rock City box office or from http://www.alt-tickets.co.uk/alttickets/home_acoustic_session_nottingham_.html
