Bollywood Movie Auditions For Paid Extras In Nottingham!

So we've barely recovered from all the excitement of having Batman filming very recently in Nottingham but Nottingham Confidential can now reveal that a Bollywood movie featuring two huge Bollywood stars is also coming to film in the city and is holding two sets of auditions for paid extras. But you'll need to act quickly- the auditions will take place at Portland Leisure Centre in The Meadows on Saturday 16th July from 11am-1pm and Tuesday 19th July from 5-7pm.

"We're looking for a mix of people, not only Indian Asian but all other nationalities," said Alan French on behalf of Naila Mughal Artists Agency who are casting for the film. "We'll be needing around 70 or 80 people from the ages of 16-25 and we'll also be needing ten people who are over the age of 60."

Filming will take place in Nottingham from the 28th July-12 August and will be all around the city including the castle and filming will also take place in other cities around the country. The finished movie will see a worldwide release and will be in every cinema that shows Indian films.

  1. I noticed som Indian musicians and dancers outside the castle entrance the other day going to work. Maybe it was a rehearsal for the film. Shame that I am not in the age range that they are looking for, otherwise I would have popped down.
