This Saturday 14th May sees a feel-good and eco-friendly event happening in the leafy suburban loveliness of West Bridgford. The West Bridgford Summer Gathering 2011 will be celebrating 'all the sustainable and community initiatives that are currently running in West Bridgford' by intermingling renewable energy and recycling stalls with jewellery, home-made cakes, pizzas, curry, hot food, honey, handbag sellers, children's entertainment and plenty more besides.
The day's highlights include a May Pole Dance at 11am and demonstrations in the latest dance craze of Zumba (which confidentially we have now learned is a mix of four dances- salsa, merengue, reggaeton and cumbia.)
The event runs from 10am-4pm and is taking place in Bridgford Park, Albert Road NG2 5GS
