Another May weekend, another festival and this Sunday 22nd May it's The Nottingham Green Festival 2011 at the beautiful Arboretum Park on Waverley Street, Nottingham from noon until 6pm.
Nottingham's biggest green event has now been running for over twenty years and offers a chance to buy a whole range of healthy and locally produced goods. This year will see over one hundred stalls situated around the park along with bands performing in the bandstand, children's rides, alternative therapies, entertainers and live performers. A wide selection of food is available to try and you may want to enter the 'guess how long it took to make this cake' competition at the Skills Exchange stall for a chance to win a 'fabulously decorated cake'. There will also be an after-show party from 7pm at Sumac
