If you're a bit of a local pub quiz expert and think you know your stuff when it comes to general knowledge, here's a chance for you to get on the telly and possibly win a prize fund of thousands of pounds.Hosted by Bradley Walsh and broadcast at 5pm on ITV1, The Chase is a quiz show where contestants answer general knowledge questions and play a tactical game to take them into the Final Chase. Standing in their way and trying to stop them getting there will be one of the finest quiz brains in the country who plays The Chaser.
"It's really a game that requires both nerve and knowledge," says Jonathan Booth from ITV Studios. "Contestants have to both play by themselves and work as a team for a chance to win or share the big prize fund. We recently had one game end with £60,000 being shared between two or three people!"
The Chase cast people from all over the UK and are now specifically looking for people from Nottingham to take part. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply and everyone will be considered.
